The Sugar Cottage is inspired by the women of Caro's family. Sylvia and Caro are two sisters who were well influenced by their creative mother also named, Sylvia. As a mother of four, birthdays and holidays were often decorated by hand and planned with great enthusiasm. Amongst the siblings, we were well versed in the importance of imagination and love that went behind every detail. 

Today we apply our love for celebration, creativity and design in many forms at, The Sugar Cottage. With the help of Caro's husband, Celso, we are able to create custom designs for parties, studios, theatrical stages & boutiques. From consultations to referrals on local artisans, to even hands on planning events, we have the knowledge and experience in our very own backyard, Miami.
